Testing Lead

Description

We are looking for a full-time Testing Lead to manage a large technology project based in Baton Rouge, LA.

This web and mobile app project will be for an update to an existing statewide technology initiative that deals with many end users and large data sets.

In this role, you will work closely with the on-site Technical Project Manager and Engagement Director as well as the offshore =development lead and team.

This role requires you to be onsite at the organization's offices in Baton Rouge, LA.

Responsibilities:

• This role will require you work with many cross functional team members both onsite and offshore.
• You will be responsible for overal development and ultimately product deliverable quality while owning all testing processes and protocols. This will be accomplished by determining and deploying appropriate testing disciplines, technology, test automation, and hands on quality assurance and controls throughout the development and delivery process
• For each development milestone, you will be expected to have created appropriate test plans including timelines for validation that aligns with overall project mileston timelines
• Maintain ongoing collaboration with development teams to ensure high-quality outputs and to meet or exceed requirement expectations
• Mitigate quality and timeline risks by identifying issues early in the development cycle
• Vocalize quality and timeline risks and work hand-in-hand with the onsite Project Manager to maintain project timeline
• Continually push for the implementation of industry best practices in quality assurance, leading to improved product standards and team processes

Qualifications

• 6 Years in a QA/Testing Lead Role
• 6 Years experience managing projects that are technical in nature
• 5 Years managing testing timelines
• 4 Years interfacing with executive management and/or client leadership
• Proven success in bringing high quality products to market on time and on budget
• Bachelor's Degree required
