We are seeking a hands-on IT Support Technician. The ideal candidate must be safety conscious, energetic, detail oriented with strong follow-up skills and self-motivated.
General Purpose of the Position:
As a member of the Direct Customer Support / Helpdesk Team, the IT Support Technician will provide assistance with the maintenance, functionality and efficiency of IT Systems across all Loos/Central Wire locations, including desktop computers, printers, scanners, application software and other peripherals. He or she may also be required to assist with IT projects and strategic planning, as well as identifying, maintaining, tracking, and deploying various technologies. Other duties will be assigned as necessary.
Here’s the preferred experience:
- 1 - 3 years IT support/helpdesk experience preferred
- Experience in a customer service and / or systems support role a plus
- Strong analytical troubleshooting skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Understanding of Windows operating systems installation and configuration, Active Directory/Windows domains
- Experience with Microsoft Office 2019/365 Suite
- Experience with PC hardware build and repair
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols
- Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals
