What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Faculty - Phlebotomy Assistant position at Lorain County Community College?

Job Description

Reporting to the Dean of Health and Wellness Sciences, the Phlebotomy Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to: handling specimen preparation for college laboratories, assisting primary faculty in instructing the students at the bench, observing and signing off student blood draws, and lab preparation. In addition, the phlebotomy assistant will log student success, report to the primary instructor, and correlate with the other adjunct and faculty.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 2 years’ experience as a full-time working phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications: Certification as PBT(ASCP); 5 years’ experience
