What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Data Architect position at Lorien?
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in data management working as a data architect with a good foundation of experience in data modeling/data structures (star schemas, OLAP cubes, etc.)
- 7 years of experience in Data Analysis, Information Management and Business Intelligence
- 5 years of advance knowledge of designing & working with multi-dimensional data modeling, i.e., entity relationships, star/snowflake schemas, hierarchies, attributes, measures, granularity/aggregation
Skills:
- Proven experience in the design and implementation of modern data architectures and concepts such as cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), real-time data distribution (Kafka, Dataflow), and modern data warehouse tools (Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks)
- Experience with various database platforms, including DB2, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Couchbase, MongoDB, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.
- Knowledge of master data management, data cataloging and organizing data using multi-dimensional analysis.
- Experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, BO, QuickSight, Synapse, Qlik.
- Ability to learn and adopt new technologies, especially in advance data analytics and AI/ML
- Familiar with applicable data privacy practices and laws
- Dynamic, self-driven professional with a strong sense of ownership
- Leader who demonstrates, inspires, and fosters team success and individual growth and a team player who has a proven ability to build trust and influence.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
