The 3-time WNBA Champions Los Angeles Sparks are seeking a motivated team player to join our team as an Inside Sales Representative of New Business Sales. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling season tickets, mini-plans, and other ticket packages for the 2025 season. This position is part of a developmental program, in which is designed to provide the individual with training and coaching necessary to grow both personally and professionally. This individual should be passionate about building a career in sports sales! This position will report under the Director of New Business. This is a full-time, benefits included, non-exempt position, with a hourly range of $20.00-$25.00/hr.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
New Business Sales Activities & Targets
- Drive revenue growth through the sale of full-season memberships, mini-plans, and related ticket packages
- Achieve daily hustle metrics by completing a designated number of phone calls, emails, and messages to potential prospects
- Identify customer needs and interests through inbound/outbound phone, email and in person sales efforts
- Handle game-day responsibilities, including managing the sales table, client visits and other assigned tasks both during games and outside regular business hours by providing the best-in-class customer service
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospects and clients within the CRM system to ensure effective reporting and pipeline management
- Consistently meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales goals
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, time management skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to provide professional customer service
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed, while also being a team player
- Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, ideally in Business, Sport Management, or a related field
- 1-2 years related work experience
- Prior sports sales experience is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; ability to learn required business systems
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required
- Available to work on-site for Sparks home games and events, including late evening hours and outside normal business hours
- Ability to perform physical tasks and essential requirements
- Must be willing to relocate to Los Angeles, CA
