Lotus also has several related venture companies.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting associate to work with our talented accounting team in the Logan office. Lotus is growing and there are many opportunities for career development and growth for passionate and motivated team members.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Receiving & routing incoming payables to the appropriate entities
- Maintaining a tracking record of regularly recurring bills to ensure that those bills are paid consistently and timely
- Onboarding new vendors, including obtaining the necessary paperwork and payment information
- Maintaining good working relationships and communication with team members, vendors and company partners
- Processing incoming payables in QuickBooks and other softwares, such as Appfolio
- Ensuring that bills are processed in a timely manner and according to contracts, payment terms, and departmental procedures
- Collaborating with team members to ensure that intercompany and related company payables are handled correctly and efficiently
- Finding and resolving discrepancies and errors in bills and/or payments
- Creating invoices according to company practices & submitting them to customers
- Researching customer discrepancies and past-due amounts and contacting delinquent customers to request payment
- Maintaining and updating customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
- Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested
- Bank Statement Reconciliations
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 1-3 Years of Accounting Experience
- Proficiency in English and Math
- Typing speed of 50 words per minute and 10-key proficiency (preferred)
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- 1 Years of experience in accounting software
- 1 Years of experience in Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills

Pay: $42,000 to $48,000 per year
