We are seeking an outgoing, creative, reliable, and driven Store Manager to be responsible for our daily operations in our retail location in Leesburg.
Our ideal team member will be customer-focused, creative, willing to help all people in all situations, with a strong desire to help our small business succeed.
Candidates should have an interest in design, retail, entrepreneurship, or other retail management. Special considerations will be given to candidates with a consignment, sales, interior design, or communications background OR small business ownership.
Light cleaning and lifting will be required. Ability to climb a ladder and drive a vehicle also required. Spanish speaking and sign language skills a plus!

Duties :
- Ensuring daily operations run smoothly and effectively
- Keeping the store presentable and clean
- Customer Service for artisans and shoppers alike
- Taking custom orders and informing artists of customer preferences
- Managing inventory, checking in artist inventory, checking out artist inventory
- Regularly staging products with creativity and flair
- Oversight and reporting of daily sales, logging into the computer system and tracking sales activity
- Some social media posting on behalf of the store, conducting lives’ as requested
- Developing and promoting sales strategies to help the store meet financial goals
- Tracking and responding to online orders, packing and shipping orders as needed
- Scheduling private events as requested
- Recruiting new artisans as needed
Responsibilities :
- Maintain the store appearance and organization as bright, open, clean, professional
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service and attention to detail
- Oversee inventory levels by recognizing each artist's works and facilitating the check-in and check-out process
- Operate the cash register and other equipment to ensure daily operation
- Receive merchandising shipments from vendors, unpack, tag, and stage products in entertaining and effective retail displays that maximize sales
- Craft social media posts and conduct lives’ to maximize store exposure and enhance sales
- Complete store procedures for opening and closing as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Propose innovative ideas and feedback to increase sales, foot traffic, etc.
- Deal with all issues that arise from vendors or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.)
- Be the face’ of our store, represent our brand positively, and promote our company, products, and services without hesitation
- Additional store manager duties as needed
Position Requirements and Skills :
- Proven experience as a retail Store Manager
- Ability to perform retail staging duties including climbing a ladder, lifting boxes, etc.
- High standards for cleanliness (dusting, sweeping, keeping order in the store)
- Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills
- Light office administration and computer skills (data entry, filing, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent track record of customer service
- Cashier experience
The following experience is not required but strongly preferred :
- Experience in consignment retail
- Experience in Interior Design or related field
- Experience as a Social Media Manager
- Experience in Event Planning
Pay : $17 / hr to start as Part Time. Full-time salary options and benefits may be available after 6 month review.
Shifts : Tuesday Saturday 10am-6pm (approximately 30 hrs per week).
