What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Lab Technician position at Lovett Dental Humble?
We are looking for an EXPERIENCED DENTAL LAB TECH with a desire to escape the corporate dental lab landscape and be able to focus on high quality dental lab work, while working one on one with our Specialists.
We do predominantly fixed hybrid prosthesis and dentures. We are partially digital and, on our journey, to being a fully 100% digital dental lab, looking for someone who will help get us there!
The lab is 90% fixed, 10% removable.
Requirements but will train the right candidate
- Ability to produce artistic, esthetic, and consistent, high-quality work for cases.
- Start-to-finish proficiency in hybrid prosthesis and the ability to with potential tight deadlines
- Advanced knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and safety procedures.
- Well-balanced personality and professional attitude that coincides with dentists and other technicians.
- Knowledge of milling.
- Full arch implant knowledge and understanding MUA and components.
- Experience with scan bodies
- Both 3shape™ and exocad™ design experience
- Abutment and tissue design capabilities for ideal restoration outcomes.
- Responsible for building, contouring, and glazing high-end anterior and posterior restorations including PMMA and Zirconia.
