What are the responsibilities and job description for the FOREMAN position at Low Voltage Solutions Inc?
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES (The statements below are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities, duties, and/or skills required. Additional responsibilities may also be assigned.)
- Works closely with Superintendent, Director of Construction Management, and Project Managers to ensure that jobs are on time; on budget, and meet Code requirements and customer expectations.
- Assists in training and development of personnel in conjunction with the Director of Construction Management initiatives.
- Plan and direct work to maintain continuous production and progress.
- Works with a commitment to safety following all company policies and OSHA standards.

Acts as a professional and uses basic work ethics
- Comes to work on time every day with appropriate PPE attire and tools.
- Upholds the core values of Low Voltage Solutions.
- Demonstrates effective, proper use and care of hand tools.
- Reading, understanding, and demonstrating the use of Job Hazard Analysis.
- Oversight and coordination of the installation of direct digital control systems, fire alarm systems, and security systems.
- Able to pull low voltage electrical wiring through electrical conduit.
- Able to demonstrate cutting, bending, and running electrical conduit materials.
- Handling and acquiring material for the project.
- Leads and participates actively in daily work briefings.
- Generation and distribution of daily reports.
- Utilizes the About Time app to clock in/out on a daily basis.
- Leads by example.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective completion of the project.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Adapting to new and changing requirements, environments, and/or information.
- Establish and maintain effective work relationships with customers, vendors, and consultants.
- Organizing work to accomplish tasks.
- Estimating resources needed to complete required tasks

- Driving, sitting, climbing, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Highschool Diploma or GED.
- 3 years of electrical supervisory experience.
- IEC Apprenticeship Program graduate and/or Journeyman License
- Be a True Believer in Safety.
- Basic computer skills- email and written communications, time-keeping applications, reporting, Microsoft office suite, etc.
- Must be a dependable team player.
- Willing to travel as needed.
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
