Trim Technician
Job Description
The LOWD Team is expanding and looking for Trim Techs to join our organization. The role consists of doing day-to-day trim work in accordance with company standards. Trim Techs are responsible for ensuring the highest standards of performance across the trimming operations, including maintaining facility compliance, and cleanliness in accordance with State regulations and company standards. Other labor tasks can include trellising, moving and removing soil, transplanting, etc. To be considered candidates must have an updated Marijuana Workers permit. This role will report to the Post-Production Manager. This role offers a pay rate of $125 per pound.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitoring trim quality throughout the day.
- Set up and manage daily tasks for your trimming station.
- Trimmer will also be responsible for bud trimming and ensure all trimming activity meets company standards and specifications.
- Able to detect cannabis imperfections such as mold, mites, and mildew, and light-burn.
- The ideal candidate will excel as a team player within a tightly controlled, state regulated system.
- At all times trimming work will be performed following company sanitation guidelines, including the proper use of sanitary/protective gloves.

- Ability to work in a sometimes physically demanding environment.
- May be assigned other job duties as necessary.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bud/weed trimmer is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in the marijuana/cannabis industry is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required.
- Per state law, must be at least 21 years of age.
- Resident with a current valid State-issued ID or Drivers License.
- Provide necessary documentation for employment in the United States.
- Able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Able to periodically bend, reach, and squat.
- Able to physically lift at least 50 lbs.
