Temporary Accounting Support - Seasonal role

JOB SUMMARY:

Provide temporary accounting assistance to the Lowers Forensics International team. This role is a temporary seasonal role and is not eligible for benefits. This role is a 5 day/week in-office role and must be located in the Purcellville, VA, Miami, FL, Dallas, TX, Providence, RI or Atlanta, GA offices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include the following (other duties may be assigned):

• Perform data entry of financial documents into Excel
• Format and create formulas in Excel to provide needed accounting data, utilize and be proficient in V lookup and Pivot tables
• Provide regular updates related to work performed
• Research information related to accounting assignment as directed and create reports

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Education:
  • Minimum: Associate degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Experience:
  • Minimum: 1 year of accounting, bookkeeping, data entry or data analysis experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for this position:

• Strong Excel skills to include ability to create formulas, pivot tables and V lookups in Excel
• Strong data entry skills
• Self-starter
• Ability to provide professional written and verbal communication

WORK HOURS

8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, this is an in-office role, hybrid or remote is not available

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Close visual acuity for preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection.
