What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Development Specialist position at LPA, Inc.?
LPA is seeking a passionate Talent Development Specialist to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners. You will be involved with people from across our organization, from our CEO to the most recent new hire. You will be involved in day-to-day management of many areas, including onboarding, talent development and hiring, professional development and more. Every day is different!
You will be working with Project Leaders, Directors and Principals in the studio and across the firm. We are looking to you to look at ways to identify top talent, think critically, and manage the overall recruiting lifecycle for multiple roles at LPA.

\n- Partner with Principals, Directors and the Human Resources team to create, implement and execute strategies to attract top talent to LPA
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle recruitment including qualifying the requisition, sourcing, screening, selection, interview coordination management, and offer extension
- Inform Hiring Managers of the nature of the candidate market. Develop creative solutions to hard-to-fill requisitions. Act as a strategic partner.
- Develop relationships with new hires to collect feedback regarding current onboarding processes and opportunities for improvement
- Strategize with the Talent Development Team on best practices to build relationships in key markets and solutions for tough to fill requisitions
- Review and select candidates within our internal applicant tracking system
- Provide mentorship from our Human Resources and Leadership team as well as other professionals across the board
- Provide career growth opportunities including professional development grants and our professional development process
- Provide study grants for exploration – Catapult, LPA Foundation
- 3 years of experience in full cycle recruiting
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Must be an effective communicator at all levels and enjoy working in a team environment
- Experience with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience in the AEC industry preferred
- Flexibility, collaborative, self-starter, detail oriented
- Proven capabilities to recruit and manage the recruiting process for technical positions
- Background in building relationships with managers and ability to manage the requisition lifecycle
- Experience using LinkedIn recruiter and other tools to source candidates for hard to fill positions
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner according to established deadlines

The salary range for this position is $47,000 - $85,000 and is eligible for annual bonus. If you are hired at LPA, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience and/or project complexity. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
