Are you passionate about swim, activewear, apparel, and staying ahead of the fashion curve? We are seeking a talented and creative Design Coordinator who shares our love for all things fashion related.


Role Summary:

As a Design Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our design team, supporting the senior designers. Your role will involve maintaining organized and accurate line sheets. You will also conduct market research to keep our brand ahead of fashion trends and participate in design inspiration meetings to shape the creative direction of our collections. Additionally, you will manage fit notes during fittings and ensure sketches are updated accordingly. Keeping our fabric library organized will also be a key part of your responsibilities, providing easy access to materials for the team.



Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with Designers: You will play a crucial role in supporting our designers with day-to-day tasks. From assisting in the creation of design concepts to helping with technical sketches, your attention to detail and eye for aesthetics will be essential in ensuring the success of our collections.
  2. Maintain Line Sheets: Keep our line sheets updated and organized, ensuring that all product information and design details are accurately recorded. This will be vital in streamlining our design and production processes.
  3. Colorway Development: Work closely with the design team to develop captivating colorways for prints and patterns. Your understanding of color trends and harmonies will help create visually appealing collections.
  4. Market Research: Stay at the forefront of global and domestic fashion trends by conducting thorough market research. Your insights will contribute to keeping our brand relevant and competitive.
  5. Design Inspiration Meetings: Participate in design inspiration meetings, where you'll have the opportunity to share your ideas and contribute to the creative direction of our collections.
  6. Main responsibility during fitting will to send out fit notes and insure sketches are updated following fit.
  7. Fabric Library Organization: Manage and organize our fabric library, making it easy for the team to access a diverse range of materials for inspiration and sampling.


Qualifications:

  • A strong passion for apparel and fashion in general, allowing you to bring creativity and enthusiasm to the team.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics, ensuring the quality and visual appeal of our collections.
  • Solid organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of color trends and captivating colorways for prints and patterns.
  • Excellent written communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to work effectively with the design team and other stakeholders.
