About the role
The Financial Analyst, Creator Shopping Platform (“FA”) will partner closely with the Creator Shopping Platform (“CSP”) business leaders and their teams, as well as the LTK Finance team, to drive business unit objectives and provide critical financial planning and analysis services. The FA will be embedded in the CSP team, providing strategic support by developing financial models and generating analytical insights to identify trends and evaluate opportunities. Duties for the FA will include budgeting and forecasting both Transaction Revenue and OpEx, reporting accurate and timely results, and providing actionable insights. Further, the FA will drive innovation to improve our planning and forecasting tools and processes.
The Creator Shopping Platform business unit is growing at a significant pace, both in terms of people and revenue, which presents a great opportunity for the FA to help steward that growth and take on new challenges along the way.
How you will make an impact
- Partner with the CSP Sales team to understand historical performance and areas of improvement for the Creator teams
- Provide decision support by conducting profitability/ROI analyses for current and future initiatives
- Support Corporate Finance and Accounting in the close process to ensure proper accounting treatment and expense coding
- Source information for sales incentive payments from key applications across the company and build accurate and scalable systems while considering efficiency and process
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and other financial reporting for leadership discussions to evaluate different aspects of the business and drive strategic conversations
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, concerns, and areas for process and/or reporting improvements
What you will bring to LTK
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field
- 2 years experience in corporate finance or other related analytical experience
- Excellent verbal, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills -- including the ability to communicate complex ideas to a lay audience
- Analytical, a problem solver, with strong attention to detail
- Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing, entrepreneurial environment
- Balance multiple projects and meet necessary deadlines with limited supervision
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and G-Suite skills required
- SQL experience preferred
