About the role
- In this role as the Office Intern, you will help support The People team with office management and team experience. You’ll collaborate with team members and leaders to support processes that deliver an outstanding employee experience. This role is a part-time, temporary role that works out of the Dallas Headquarters up to 20 hours per week.
How you will make an impact
- Manages the reception area to ensure a professional and welcoming environment.
- Deliver an exceptional first impression and experience by greeting, welcoming, assisting, and directing guests appropriately.
- Executes administrative activities including, but not limited to: processing incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ordering office supplies, and managing storage areas..
- Conducts the maintenance and upkeep of office area, equipment, supplies, office layout, and housekeeping of the office facilities. This includes but is not limited to: loading and unloading dishwashers, moving furniture, cleaning social areas, setup and breakdown of team meetings, etc. (Please note: This position requires daily physical activity.)
- Orders and oversees all catering and food orders for the entire office staff on a weekly basis.
- Setup/Breakdown catered meals and daily restock of the snack room.
- Liaison to IT for office equipment, including but not limited to: printers, laptops, office phones, etc.
- Assist with team onsite meetings and catering meals if requested.
- Assist with planning local office happy hours and remote if requested.
- Willing to be trained in CPR and willing to support office safety initiatives.
- Support The People team with various administrative duties when needed.
- Flexibility to support other duties and projects as they arise.
