Social Media Manager
Summary of Position:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our marketing team!
This person will be responsible for managing our social media accounts, increasing brand awareness,
and maintaining the company’s brand. You’ll be responsible for creating original text and video content,
managing posts, and responding to comments/followers. This candidate will also work closely with
internal business partners and Marketing team to highlight trends and share insights to help influence
business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI and monitor SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Monitor company’s social media platforms for messages, chats and comments, and respond
accordingly with company policies, legal compliance and privacy standards.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds
meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • Collect and analyze social media data/metrics, insights and best practices, and recommend
action plans to management team on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand
consistency
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog
layout).
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and
applications
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong
network
  • Partner with internal business partners in Marketing, Sales, and Product Marketing teams
  • Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements
Education/Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, or related field
  • 3 years of relevant professional experience in Social Media
  • Hands on experience in content management
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Solid knowledge of B2B SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Experience in Security System or Technology industry is preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical/research and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interact with customers and internal partners with professional, friendly and
empathetic style
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Positive attitude and good work ethic
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality work and accuracy
  • English is a must and Chinese a plus


Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:

  • Domestic and/or International Travel may be required (up to 25%)
  • Willing and able to work additional hours when needed
  • Bend, lift, open and move product and related office items varying in weight from 1 to 30lbs,

depending on need
