JOB SUMMARY:
The Digital Solutions Architect is a servant leader people want to work with and learn from, someone who builds strong relationships, has noticeable passion and energy, and delivers high levels of performance while always embodying our purpose and values. This person is a key resource within Lube-Tech’s Information Technology Team, someone who is strategic and collaborative and can drive technology efforts across multiple projects while ensuring we consistently deliver on our customer promise. This position is responsible for building out a 3-year roadmap for Ecommerce related technologies that supports all known business plans including the Strategic Growth initiative chartered to grow Ecommerce storefront revenue from $8M to $100M over the next several years.
The Digital Solutions Architect is also responsible for ensuring the delivery and/or integration of various related service technologies required to effectively and safely deliver the desired Ecommerce experiences / customer journeys. These services include but are not limited to fraud, tax, address verification, inventory management, and invoicing. Some of these service technologies may already be in the Lube-Tech portfolio but others may be new or in need of being replaced / refreshed.
The Digital Solutions Architect creates and develops data flows, understands website stats / trends, and delivers meaningful analysis via reporting that enables better business outcomes. This leader also partners with the business identify different possibilities for revenue and profit growth related to E-commerce spaces.
In addition to supporting technology related to our E-Commerce business, this role also owns and supports our Salesforce implementation and future plans for expanded use.
Growth Strategy (70%)
- Partners effectively with the business to deliver on the plan for our Ecommerce business that accounts for enterprise, divisional and channel specific needs to increase customer value, delivers a competitive advantage, and drives top and bottom-line growth.
- Delivers technical solutions that provide a secure and highly effective customer experience as defined by the business via customer journey mapping efforts.
- Owns and supports all Ecommerce related technologies from the primary platform to the related service technologies to the integration efforts / technology as well.
- Owns and supports the existing Salesforce implementation ensuring the technology enables and support Sales success.
- Ensures all owned Salesforce capabilities are utilized where it makes sense to do so.
- Builds Ecommerce and Salesforce standards into the soon to be created IT M&A integration playbook.
Support & Compliance (30%)
- Ensures that all owned and supported technologies deliver uptimes and performance as agreed to with our business partners. Escalates to vendor partners as needed should issues or concerning incident trends arise.
- Creates and produces an Digital Solutions technology performance dashboard with metrics to demonstrate achievement of SLAs. Meets and reviews these metrics quarterly (or as needed) with key Business leaders.
- Partners consistently with IT security to ensure security and compliance requirements are tracked and expectations are being met (PCI, PII, California Privacy, etc.).
- Stays current with technology trends and technology partner roadmaps. Ensures significant trends / changes are factored into Lube-tech strategies and plans / roadmaps.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience.
Experience and/or Training (i.e., the kind of skills and knowledge and number of years required)
- 7 years of experience with B2B and B2C technology platforms and related tools
- 5 years of Salesforce experience specifically in the areas of Sales, Service, and Configure Price Quote (CPQ)
- Proven track record of delivering on a wide variety of Ecommerce related programs / projects.
- Order management experience (both process and data flows as well as the technology components)
- Strong ability to translate business needs / requirements into solution delivery plans.
- Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills balanced with vision, creativity, and resourcefulness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information (both written and verbal) clearly and concisely at all levels of the organization in various levels of detail.
- Some travel to Lube-tech locations may be required.
