HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO OUR TEAM(Overview & Key Responsibilities):
As a Service Manager, you will ensure operational capacity, capabilities, and costs are aligned to support growth strategies and optimize our service execution. Driving our Service team to live out the Lube-Tech purpose of making tomorrow a little bit better than today.
- Promote and maintain a safe workplace.
- Provide effective leadership and training to field service technicians.
- Ensure service operations capabilities are competitive, differentiated, and keep pace with emerging opportunities.
- Effectively partner with other functions (i.e., Sales, Safety, Quality, Finance etc.) to achieve overall Division goals; establish and maintains effective relationships with others and gains their trust and respect.
- Work side by side with technicians to demonstrate the correct and safe process for tasks.
- Work with customer service and dispatch to prioritize and schedule jobs with a general understanding of the scope of work, skill and time commitment necessary to complete in order to increase technician utilization rate.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
- Technical Degree or equivalent experience in Operations, Logistics, Service or related field.
- Strong leader with knowledge of operations, service and supply chain.
- Proven track record of building a top performing team through effective leadership. Ability to effectively interact with staff at every level of an organization.
- Demonstrates sound judgment and decision making considering relative costs & benefits of potential actions; critical thinking logic & reasoning to identify solutions.
- Knowledge of Lean concepts and tool.
- Working understanding of Project management software and ERP systems.
