Job scope:
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician at Lubing Systems, you will be responsible for ensuring proper task management to troubleshoot, oversee startup of industrial/agricultural equipment, and assist in planning for future projects. Achieving outstanding customer satisfaction is our top priority. The job of a Field Service Technician requires frequent travel to project sites around the country.
Field Service Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform all required on-site activities related to installation, repair, management and maintenance
- Lead and assist contractors in prototype installations, startups, and troubleshooting
- Identify all issues, suggest and implement solutions in the field
- Track and document the progression of installation work
- Train customers on new equipment and the required maintenance schedules to keep equipment running nominally
- Review and promote equipment service contract options with customers and assist sales team with establishing these contracts
- Build trusting relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer services
- Travel 75% of the time
- While not traveling, report to office (based in Cleveland, TN) to assist with technical support via phone calls, emails, etc. received from customers or other personnel in the field
- Collaborate closely with the technical/engineering teams
Field Service Technician Requirements and Qualification
- Prior field service experience preferred
- Self-managing, organization, and strong leadership skills required
- Prior experience in poultry or other agricultural industry preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting background preferred
- High-level ability to test, trouble shoot, service, and repair
- Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must have the skills to compose emails and trip reports to include pictures, sketches, etc. taken while onsite
- Experience in all aspects of travel: booking flights, accommodations, rental cars, and tracking expenses
- Good communication skills, ability to work under pressure
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an agriculture environment including extremes in temperature with continuous walking, reaching, climbing ladders, bending and kneeling
- Ability to adapt to dynamic work schedules and flexible shifts and able to travel on short notice

Pay: $14.00 - $30.00 per hour
