We are seeking a Hands on motivated manager to lead our IT API Integrations and automation Practices. As a technical leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful integration of APIs and automation, ensuring the highest levels of security across our systems and platforms. This position requires strong technical expertise, exceptional leadership abilities, and a passion for innovation.
This role is 5 days a week onsite in our Newark, CA office

- Lead a team of talented IT professionals responsible for API integration, security implementation, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, infrastructure, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of APIs and maintain a secure environment.
- Evaluate and select API management and security tools that align with the company's objectives and technological requirements.
- Oversee security assessments, vulnerability testing, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in API integrations and security to drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 years of leading technical teams
- 15 years experience in IT API integrations and security, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Experience with API design, RESTful services, and API security standards.
- 3 years’ experience with API management tools, authentication mechanisms, and security protocols (e.g., OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS).
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and address security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Proven experience in managing and mentoring teams, fostering a collaborative work environment, and driving professional growth.
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
· California (Bay Area) - $138,000 - $198,000
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
