JOB OVERVIEW
Responsible to provide hotel guests with excellent service at the front desk from making the reservation to departure. Responsible to respond to guests needs, inquiries, requests, comments, emails and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Responsible for assisting the Housekeeping department in maintaining a clean, orderly Hotel and coordinating daily tasks including room inspections, issuing work assignments lost and found, and inventory management.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Attend to and respond to guest comments real time feedback on OTA channels
2. Go through detailed arrival report, notate VIP's and special requests and communicate accordingly.
3. Coordinate and communicate efforts with Housekeeping and Engineering for PM rooms and guest requests.
4. Review resumes for arriving groups
5. Review any check-in/pre-registration needs and coordinate room assignment.
6. Complete an inspection of all guestroom floors, public areas and restrooms daily and rectify deficiencies with respective departments.
7. Set up proper billing accounts (i.e., sharewiths, room/tax/incidentals, tax exempt, direct/special billing)
8. Respond to all positive reviews via revinate
9. Assist housekeeping in doing monthly inventories.
10. Work on projects as assigned by Rooms Management.
11. Assist in processing guests requests via ALICE and follow up.
12. Cover shifts at the Front Desk or in Housekeeping when coverage is needed.
13. Adhere to policies regarding PCI Compliance.
14. Ensure total guest satisfaction.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Will be required to work day/and or evening shifts, both weekdays and weekends. Some overtime may be required.
2. Independent Hotel experience preferred.
3. Time Square, Midtown Manhattan experience preferred.
