The Sr. Manager, Billing Operations - Mass markets directs billing operations and technology to maximize effectiveness and accuracy of Mass Markets billing. This leader is responsible for monitoring the operation of processes to ensure the effective delivery of billing information. And will assist in planning and implementation of long-term strategic initiatives to improve accuracy and timeliness of billing. Additionally, they are responsible for developing and maintaining a high-performance team.
- Build a high-performance team; hire and retain the right talent in the right roles; set goals, delegates work, hold reports accountable; develop and empower direct reports to make decisions and take action. - Responsible for timely and accurate billing of all North America products and services. Accountable for setting benchmarks measuring billing production productivity and quality. Develop short and long-term objectives, goals and strategies that drive the organization to improve billing timeliness and quality.
- Responsible for driving process improvement within organization and to impacting departments, including Product and IT. Determine requirements and drives implementation of improvements to aid in the standardization of customer invoice formats.
- Maintain records and files and generates related reports. Ensure procedures and internal controls are followed in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or similar
- 7-10 years of experience with at least 5 years in increasingly responsible management positions
- Experience in telecommunications, preferably including billing
- Passion for process improvement and quality
- Demonstrated successes in building, training, and motivating teams
- Track record in driving "continuous improvement" processes
- High integrity and strong business ethics
- Team player with a great passion to succeed
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Some business travel required
