What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host & Lead Host position at Luna?
Luna is a two-location restaurant. We are hiring both for our main Downtown GR location and our forthcoming Ada, MI location. All training will happen at our Downtown GR location, with the opportunity to eventually transfer to Ada for the right candidate.
Hosts. Hosts are primarily responsible for helping seat guests, bussing, answering phones, creating seating charts, and being the first, friendly face of our vibrant, bustling restaurant.
Lead Hosts/Service Managers. This is a fast-paced, performance-driven position. You are in charge of all other hosts, floor plans and making sure that you are meeting the expected seating performance. Experience in a reservation-driven restaurant and the ability to calmly and efficiently deal with stressful situations are a must.
Night and weekend availability is required. Full-time is available for the right candidate, extended part-time or part-time is available as well. Must be comfortable working outdoors as well as indoors.
