Office Manager Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Office Manager who is excited about building a great employee experience for our team. We’re looking for someone who is excited to dig into the immediate office needs, while also thinking longer term to optimize our office management processes to support our growing team. An ideal candidate is someone who is excited to collaborate with a diverse and dedicated team.
*On a given day at Lunar, you’ll likely:
- Be the backbone of the office! You’ll ensure that our office environment creates an ideal workspace for all of our teams.
- Support in employee onboarding and offboarding processes in collaboration with the People and IT teams (1st day coordination, workspace setup, etc)
- Manage vendors for building management, janitorial services, and all other office vendors including snacks, meals, office supplies, handymen and IT support
- Process and route all mail, Fedex, UPS, and other deliveries
- Support all administrative duties in the office and ensure smooth operations daily.
- Develop office policies and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring up-to-date emergency plans, covid compliance, workplace posters, etc., are in place and followed by all team members.
- Organize team events including on/off-site meetings, all-hands, special events, and departmental functions, including the preparation of materials, logistics, and catering requirements.
- Support executive team with special projects.
About you
- You are passionate about accelerating the adoption of renewables and decarbonization of our energy infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 years experience as an office manager in a high-growth startup environment is strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage internal/external customers in a diplomatic and empathetic manner. You are proactive, with the ability to anticipate the needs of others.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize.
- Highly collaborative, and are equally invested in the success of other departments and our key vendors.
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, and takes initiative.
