What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Manager position at Lush Lawn - Safari Tree?
Location: Brighton
General Job Objectives: Responsible for ensuring that our customers expectation for their lawn care, tree & shrub healthcare, and pest control are being met or exceeded.
Essential Job Duties:
Maintain equipment, shop and warehouse to maximize efficiency of the Lawn Technicians.
Train Lawn Technicians to apply granular fertilization and pesticide application to customer’s lawns according to state regulations.
Inspect Lawn Technicians work and make corrections and/or adjustments while ensuring they are properly trained. Coach and motivate the team to produce excellent results and meet weekly goals.
Address issues Lawn Technicians may have with equipment during their daily routes.
Provide customer service, evaluate lawns and trees, note any issues or concerns; diagnose disease, inspect problems, or other issues. Keep detailed notes about every visit.
Communicate with Production Manger about any issues with the equipment, shop or warehouse.
Desired Experience:
Lawn Care and mechanical repairs knowledge. Fleet maintenance.
Skills/Abilities:
Excellent organization skills. problem solving, attention to detail, self-motivated, team player.
Requirements:
Mechanical knowledge and ability to do repairs. Must have a valid driver’s license. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
