We are currently seeking an Office Manager for our Lutheran Village at Miller's Grant in Ellicott City, MD community. The LVMG Office Manager will work as an integral part of our Support Services team, that delivers a unique approach to quality care and administrative support for our senior residents.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the Support Services team of Concierges and Office Assistants.
- Serve as administrative support to the Executive Director
- Organize, evaluate and monitor business office operations and assigned team members in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Interpret LVMG’s policies and procedures to team members, residents, family members, and visitors required.
- Prepare confidential reports, statistical and financial data as needed for the Director.
- File incident/accident reports in accordance with established policies.
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with team member within the department as well as other departments within the facility, to ensure that LVMG’s Support Services can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the facility.
- Manage guest rooms and reservations for the community
- Manage and maintain support services budget, resident’s transportation scheduling, office supplies and office equipment.
- Oversee the completion of printing and production projects from all departments.

Qualifications:
- 3 years Office Management experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
- Proven supervisory experience and the ability to lead the LVMG’s Support Services Team Members.
- Strong organization and administrative skills.
- Previous experience working in a Continued Care Resident Community (CCRC) a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, able to take initiative, and handle multiple priorities.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with team members, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
- Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other LVMG Team Members.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
