What You’ll Do:

• Financial Management: Prepare job billings, job costing reports, and General Ledger entries. Distribute financial statements and ad hoc reports.
• Equipment Tracking: Oversee reporting on all rental equipment fleets.
• Bank Reconciliations: Handle bank recs for multiple accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the CFO on insurance renewals and claims and perform audits for various authorities.
• Contract Review: Ensure all contracts are thoroughly reviewed before signing.
• Support: Provide guidance to the accounting team and employees on financial matters and assist in information resource gathering.

What They’re Looking For:

• Experience: 2-3 years of previous controller experience and a Bachelor's in Accounting.
• Mindset: A servant leader attitude with a desire to be involved in the nitty-gritty of daily accounting tasks.
• Flexibility: Willingness to engage in other back-office functions and interact with employees and customers.
• Union Experience: Familiarity with union employees and contractors is a plus.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with OneSoft (similar to Great Plains for construction) and comfort with a mix of digital and paper processes.
