Laundry Aide
DAILY PAY OPTION AVAILABLE!!!
Shift: Part Time, Every other weekend
Summary:
We are currently hiring caring individuals for our Laundry Aide position. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is dedicated to making a positive impact on their customers, and who have a desire to learn and expand professionally in a supportive, collaborative environment. The laundry aide should be comfortable working in a physically demanding role and in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility in their schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
- Operates commercial and residential washing machines and dryers
- Loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers
- Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts
- Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing
- Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat, orderly and safe manner
- Follows all policies and procedures of the Nursing Center;
- Checks stock and notifies Supervisor of supply needs
- Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights
- Performs other duties as requested.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience
- Experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred
