Position Purpose:
Responsible for keeping the project in scope, achieving Critical Success Factors, and successful on time completion.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leads the ERP Upgrade project, including ERP Readiness, Design, Build and Delivery.
- Provides opinion on the design and implementation of new business processes.
- Acts as the liaison between the company and 3rd party consultants.
- Timely communication of project status to ERP Champions Committee and the Steering Committee.
- Uses sound decision making, business acumen, and change management strategies, to influence the success of the project.
- Coordinates project tasks with designated project champions.
- Determines root causes with issues that have the potential to jeopardize performance and/or ability to meet agreed upon deliverables and quickly offers appropriate solutions.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technology related discipline & Project Management Qualification preferred.
- Proven project management skills - Success in delivering projects on time, on budget, and in scope.
- Experience with ERP.
- Manufacturing industry experience.
- Confident and strong communicator - keeps people informed and writes clear, precise, well-organized documents.
- Ability to demystify complex information and communicate to others in an appropriate format.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Highly self-motivated and self-directed.
- Excellent people skills – ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and demonstrated proficiency in MS office.
