Necessary Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in design/build construction with a general contractor is preferred
- Cold storage experience is a plus
- Proficient Procore
In this role, you will:
- Direct the project's administrative and operational aspects, including tasks like estimating, scheduling, maintaining quality control, reporting on progress, overseeing billing, coordinating design, managing costs, ensuring safety, and crafting proposals.
- Ensure project estimates are thorough and accurate.
- Work in close partnership with project stakeholders and design teams to develop initial design concepts.
- Participate in meetings with clients to review project scope, explore opportunities for cost savings, and propose innovative solutions to add value.
- Oversee the process of selecting and acquiring subcontractors.
- Lead on-site meetings every two weeks to ensure project continuity and address any issues.
- Make decisive, informed decisions even when under significant time constraints.
- Coordinate, organize, and lead multiple project tasks to ensure successful outcomes.
- Commit to maintaining high-quality standards by continuously evaluating and refining project processes, incorporating feedback to enhance services, and striving to meet or exceed the expectations of all stakeholders, both within and outside the organization.
