Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Fall River, Mass. Work alongside established physicians, advanced practice providers and excellent clinical support staff. Looking for ideal candidates who have prior experience in Gastroenterology, however the group is also willing to train candidates without prior experience. Also open to new graduates with Nursing experience. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with patients to provide comprehensive medical care and treatment. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to improving the overall health and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:
- Full time permanent position - Gastroenterology
- Monday-Friday schedule, 8 AM to 4:30 PM
- Hospital based one week, following week office based.
- See new patients and follow up patients in clinic and round on hospital inpatients
- Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
- Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients
- Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance
- Develop and implement patient management plans
Qualifications:
- Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner License (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience in gastroenterology or other relevant fields
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to learn
- EMR proficient
- Hold valid drug enforcement agency certificate.
- Hold Mass controlled substances registration.
