Shifts:
- PRN
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' functional mobility and develop individualized plans of care.
- Implement therapy interventions to promote patients' mobility, reduce pain, and prevent disabilities.
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and equipment to facilitate rehabilitation.
- Educate patients and their families on ongoing therapy exercises and strategies for home care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient treatment.
- Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
- A Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Clinical experience in physical therapy, including internships or residencies.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and educate patients and staff.
