About the Job
The Account Manager’s primary role is the management of relationships with existing clients within Belgium. The role involves account management, customer support, and business development to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and growth of the business.
\n- Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
- Understand client needs and objectives to ensure that our products and services meet their requirements.
- Regularly review account performance and provide clients with strategic insights and recommendations.
- Address any issues or concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region, including market expansion and upselling/cross selling within existing accounts.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s customer base.
- Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with prospective clients.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional strategies.
- Financial Management
- Manage account budgets and sales forecasts, ensuring that financial goals are met or exceeded.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to account growth, customer retention, and new business development.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on sales activities, pipeline status, and market conditions.
- 3 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development
- Proven track record of managing and growing client accounts while successfully securing new business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, contract negotiations, and account management best practices.
- Fluent in English, French and Flemish or Dutch
