What are the responsibilities and job description for the STEM Teacher position at M2Learning?
We are looking for a rockstar STEM specials teacher to work in an all-boys traditional Jewish school with 5th and 6th graders.
This dynamic position will be geared towards planning, preparing, and instructing STEM-based activities in the classroom that align with each grade level and their corresponding coursework.
Part time hours: 12:50-4:50pm Monday-Thursday (includes planning time)
Pay rate: starting at $40/hr
Start/end date: December 2022 or January 2023 through June 2023
The ideal candidate:
- Has classroom management experience
- Is skilled in connecting with students and engaging middle-school level boys
- Is able to help curate or modify STEM activities based on the curriculum being taught in the classroom
- Has STEM experience (preferred)
- Has science and math experience/background
- Has excellent communication skills
- Has the ability to build professional relationships, solve problems, and plan collaboratively
- Has excellent planning, organization, and time management skills
