PEOPLE and CULTURE love. As the day-to-day voice of the M4 team, internally and externally, the HR Manager leads and directs all functions of the Human Resource department and is the go-to person for all employee-related issues. The HR Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating employee programs, recommending improvements to employee relations policies, and making sure that all employee-related policies across the company align with our business goals and established regulations. Managing the day-to-day HR activities such as job design, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and corporate HR policies - managing progress and measuring success through analytics and key performance indicators (KPI).
The ideal candidate must be a motivated, accountable and confident self-starter, excel at proactive communication, be both a critical and strategic thinker, be analytical, data-driven, highly detail-oriented, quick to implement, and continually seek to improve upon KPIs to drive engagement, build corporate culture and support growth and development of the M4 team.
- Recruitment and Selection, Performance Management, Learning and Development, Succession Planning, Compensation and Benefits, Human Resources Information System, HR Data and Analytics.
- Develop and execute Human Resources objectives, priorities, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPI).
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Manage the talent recruitment and selection process.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Lead safety, health, wellness, employee, and labor relations.
- Create Learning and Development programs to enhance employee relations and offer employee support to each staff member.
- Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Implement new hire orientation process to successfully introduce new employees to the corporate culture.
- Deliver compensation and benefit comparison reports to the executive team each month and make recommendations to improve the company's current offerings.
- Create new ways to measure employee morale and determine methods for improving overall employee satisfaction.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Engage in community and HR associations to provide a positive and consistent brand for the Company in HR activities.
- Participate in safety activities, audits, and training. Follows all safety rules and regulations per the Employee Handbook. Understands that safety is the responsibility of every employee.

- Bachelor’s Degree from a 4- year college or similar work experience required.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience of human resource management experience required.
- SHRM-CP or PHR highly desired.
- Highly Proficient with Microsoft Suite and related software.
- Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems. [Paylocity is our HRIS].
While performing the duties of this job you will work in a typical office environment which is indoors, away from the elements. The employee is primarily in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time spent at a desk using your hands to operate a computer. Additionally, employee will be walking around both the office, social hub and factory area engaging with employees to support a positive corporate culture and address employee HR needs.
