Description
Mabbett & Associates, Inc. (Mabbett®), an award-winning and industry leading environmental, health and safety and architectural-engineering consulting firm, is seeking a full-time professional to support the growing marketing and business development (MBD) support needs of the firm.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct all aspects of MBD activities including proposal preparation.
- Organize and maintain resumes, data cut sheets, project descriptions, photographs, data bases, etc., and work with technical staff to develop proposal sections, scopes of work, and fee estimates.
- Develop and maintain marketing materials, including social media updates and website maintenance, prepare corporate blogs and website updates.
- Use industry resources and databases/websites to source and qualify appropriate prospects and maintain corporate database of marketing prospects and proposals and conduct market research.
- Identify and attend industry conferences and networking events; maintain conference schedules; and coordinate the travel and attendance by other members of the firm.
- Provide client support, research existing client developments, assist with presentation preparations, and attend client meetings.
- Conduct special MBD projects; review and analyze MBD data; and prepare reports and graphics of findings and recommendations.
- Participate as a member of the firm’s MBD Committee and attend the firm’s monthly MBD meeting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, English, or communications.
- 5 years of progressive professional MBD experience with an architectural, engineering and consulting (A/E/C) professional service firm(s) with experience coordinating and writing proposal responses to Federal, state, and municipal clients to include SF 330, sources sought, and related submittals. Working knowledge of Federal procurement databases such as SAM.gov.
- Experience with website management and e-marketing communication tools.
- Must be detail oriented, able to handle and effectively manage multiple priorities, and have strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft® Office products, including Word®, Outlook®, Excel® and PowerPoint®; experience with Adobe InDesign is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing deadlines/schedules while maintaining strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and a drug screen, to include cannabis. Additional background checks, including those conducted for the Federal government may be required.

Base Location
This position is based in Stoneham, Massachusetts. Some travel to conferences and networking events may be required. A hybrid work schedule will be considered for this opportunity.
