Cyber Security Intern

Title: Cyber Security Intern

Description: Assist the Veris Technology Team in driving cyber security initiatives to improve the security posture of the organization. A successful candidate will understand Cybersecurity concepts including the ability to understand and explain most of the following terms:

•           Threats

•           Vulnerabilities

•           Risks

•           Intrusions

•           RPO and RTO

•           Patching

•           Red Team/Blue Team

•           Malware

•           Ransomware

•           High Availability

•           Load Balanced

•           NIST

•           CIS

•           ISACA

•           AI

•           SIEM

•           Penetration Testing

A successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn about the Veris business, identify a security problem that needs to be addressed, research several proactive security solutions, and deliver on a project to improve on the security posture of the organization. The successful intern will have an opportunity to present their work at the completion of the internship.

This internship will be from Monday, June 5^th to Friday, July 28^th. It will be in the office Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm at 210 Hudson Street, Jersey City, NJ. 

Compensation: $20p/hr
