Olson Environmental, an entity of MacKay Sposito, is seeking a Stormwater Field Laborer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outside and alongside a team while putting in a full day's work. This is a seasonal, labor intensive role that will be instrumental in providing support in the management of invasive/noxious weeds in stormwater facilities, various stormwater activities, mowing, tree work, and various manual labor tasks. Opportunity to come on board full time after the winter season.
Some of the equipment you will be using includes industrial mowers, brush cutters, hedger, vactor equipment, and occasionally herbicide applicator equipment. Job sites may include uneven ground and steep slopes. You will be frequently bending and squatting during the day and carry loads of 30-40 pounds, up to the occasional 90 pounds. Work schedule is Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:30pm.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and clearing debris from stormwater drains, culverts, mowing facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of stormwater facilities, identifying potential issues and documenting findings
- Monitor stormwater systems to ensure they meet regulatory standards and environmental requirements
- Execute repairs on stormwater infrastructure, such as pipe, erosion control, and sediment removal
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
- Compile and submit reports on the status of stormwater systems, documenting any issues or recommended improvements
- Stay informed about local, state, and federal stormwater regulations and ensure compliance in all maintenance activities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to drive with trailers
- Experience with the safe operation of power tools such as lawn mowers, brush cutters, vactor equipment, etc
- Work both independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to work long hours and overtime
- Ability to get confined space trained and work in confined spaces using safety equipment
