Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee our client comapaines finance department
- Assist in all activities required by the agency’s Fiscal Management Policies and Procedures; including timely financial & budget reporting
- Coordinate the day-to-day financial operations working with direction from a CPA external consultant.
- ensuring accurate data entry in Quickbooks
- managing accounts receivable.
- reconciling bank accounts
- assisting with overall grant management
- Lead preparation of external for audits
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on financial management experience, preferably incommunity development, nonprofit organizations, or affordable housing.
- BS/BA, preferably in Accounting or a related field; additional years of demonstrated finance experience may be substituted for degree.
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Quickbooks and MS Office software.
- Affordable housing finance background, including HUD rules, preferred
