Production Utility

Job Summary

Performs a variety of general manual labor tasks, including, but not limited to, lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading vehicles and other activities to provide support throughout the manufacturing facility.

Job Duties

· Loading, moving and delivering materials and using forklift and overhead crane

· Operate saw machines

· Perform 5S activities including but not limited to painting and cleaning

· Operate floor scrubber throughout the facility

· Take proper precautionary measures when operating machinery

· Support essential logistic operations through storage and transportation of equipment

· Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately

· Discard of chips and scrap materials

· Fill, clean, and change rust preventative fluids in machines

· Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)

· Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures

· Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

· Perform work under general supervision

· Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff

· Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter

· 0 to 2 years of experience

· Ability to interpret work instructions

· Ability to follow written and verbal directions

· Basic verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly

· Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task

· Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
