Solution Architect - .Net

We are currently looking for a Solution Architect / Team Lead candidate for a Remote role on one of our prime Federal projects in Arlington, VA. Federal agency requires US Citizenship.

Candidate should have previous experience working in one of the following sectors, federal and large commercial, financial, insurance and banking with a strong emphasis on user experience, usability, client interaction, customer satisfaction, and a clear understanding of new and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in interpreting business models, system models, use cases and sequence diagrams; and creating technical architecture specifications, class diagrams and object models.
• Provides strategic technology advice to clients, develop solution architectures and take an end to end role in technology delivery
• Responsible for end-to-end architectural integrity and the relationship with other projects within the context of a given program.
• Understand latest architecture, technology, solutions, and industry trends.

Required Education Experience

• Federal agency requires US Citizenship
• BS in computer science or related degree.
• Three to five years’ experience as a Solution architect with minimum of 10 years overall experience.
• Strong understanding of C# and the .NET framework, as well as strong coding skills and the ability to problem-solve on a regular basis.
• Will be capable of full-stack development, as well as the construction, maintenance, and enhancement of .NET applications and systems.
• Other coding languages (PHP, C , Java, etc.) are also useful.
• Ability to develop well structured, easily-understood code.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and vocal.
• Working independently and completing assignments with minimum supervision is a must.
• A thorough grasp of the coding and development processes is required.
• Previous work in a fast-paced atmosphere is a plus.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms is a plus, especially Azure Cloud and Cloud.Gov environment.
• Experience Azure DevOps and Microsoft TFS.
• Experience working directly with technical and business teams.
• Knowledge of SDLC, IT governance and operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, and application dependencies.
