Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Plating operator position with an aviation electronics manufacturer located in Tualatin, OR The plating operator is responsible for the operation of some production and test equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operates production and test equipment, with assistance.
- Monitors and recommends improvements to the area as needed.
- Maintains accurate production records and equipment operation records.
- Performs tests and measurements on parts, with some assistance, to insure product quality.
- Assists in picking, transporting and exchanging materials, supplies and parts.
- Inspects production equipment daily.
- Handles hazardous materials and samples.
- Operates basic hand and power tools.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Must be able to stand or sit for most of shift.
- Must have vision correctable to 20/20 and not be color blind.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Demonstrated proficiency with basic calculator.
- Legible handwriting.
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Previous hazardous chemical handling experience.
- An understanding of basic statistical concepts
