This Warehouse Associate role will be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, working primarily to pack product orders.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label and ship)
- Follow quality service standards and comply with packing procedure, rules and regulations.
- Stack merchandise on racks.
- Complete diary logs into inventory.
- Check in merchandise and affix labels.
- Move materials off racks and package for shipment.
- Follow all safety codes.
- Place merchandise on pallets or shelves for distribution.
- Record amounts of materials or items received.
- Sort material according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Carry out tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Identify damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse.
- Ensure warehouse/equipment is maintained on a regular basis.
- Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area.
- To accurately identify and count stock materials as listed on the cycle count list.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of previous Warehouse and distribution experience
- Attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
- Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs with assistance as needed
- Able to work in a typical warehouse environment with varying temperatures throughout the year
