About the Role
The Web Merchandising Manager is an experienced people manager, strong problem-solver, effective communicator, and has a demonstrated history of developing and leading exceptional site merchandising programs through a balanced creative and data driven eye. This person will be responsible for new product launches, building and executing online merchandising strategies, as well as collaborating on web development projects.
What you can do for us:
- Oversee seasonal product launches across multiple brands
- Manage product images, site content, creative assets/banners and CMS pages
- Maintain and manage product data within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues within the ERP system
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data management efficiency
- Manage and review merchandise presentation on all sites to ensure categorization, product details, imagery and all related content are accurate and meet brand guidelines
- Conduct regular audits of the website to ensure all functionalities are working seamlessly to optimize customer accessibility and maintain a flawless user experience
- Develop and implement comprehensive web merchandising strategies to maximize online sales and enhance customer experience
- Utilize web analytics tools to monitor and analyze website performance, customer behavior, and sales data
- Generate reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions to optimize merchandising strategies
- Develop and manage personalized product recommendation strategies using data-driven insights to enhance the customer shopping experience, increase cross-selling and upselling opportunities, and tailor recommendations based on customer behavior and preferences
- Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search engine ranking by optimizing product descriptions, metadata, and other on-page elements
- Manage the optimization and ongoing enhancement of Algolia's search platform and Cylindo's 3D product visualization solutions to elevate user experience, drive conversion rates and maximize sales
- Assist with internal marketing support requests related to AHD websites providing timely and accurate responses to questions/issue resolution
- Hire, train, and develop direct reports through strong consistent coaching and mentorship, creating a culture of openness

Qualifications:
- BA in Computer Science, Web Design, Marketing or related field required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, web merchandising, or a similar role
- 2 years of management experience
- Must have basic website knowledge, including HTML/CSS, CMS, Magento, Shopify
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite
- Experience with ERP systems and database management
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in web analytics tools (Google Analytics)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and various project management tools
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once and understand how to prioritize
- Must demonstrate high level of initiative and resourcefulness, be a solution-seeker
- Ability to follow and effectively execute directions given, as well as being receptive to constructive feedback
- Experience managing projects from concept to final delivery with ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload

Starting annual salary: $80,000-90,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
