Job Summary :
As a mover / driver for our home staging company, you will be an integral part of our team. Your primary duty will be to transport furniture, decor, and other staging items to different properties, ensuring they are delivered and arranged in a timely and professional manner.
Your attention to detail and ability to work effectively with the staging team will play a vital role in our company. Depending on the project need, you may be driving a 20-26 ft U-haul truck.
Responsibilities :
- Safely load, transport, and unload furniture, decor, and staging items to and from various properties.
- Collaborate with the staging team to arrange and position items within each home according to the design plan.
- Ensure that all staging items are handled with care and remain in excellent condition during transportation and setup.
- Assist in the organization and inventory management of staging items, keeping track of their location and condition.
- Communicate effectively with the staging team and other movers to coordinate logistics and ensure a smooth workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both during transportation and at staging properties.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while handling heavy items and operating moving equipment.
- Assist in assembly or disassembly of furniture and fixtures as required.
- Organize the warehouse.
- Pack small decor items in bubble wrap to transport.
Requirements :
- Previous experience as a mover, preferably in the home staging, furniture, or related industry.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy items.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with basic tools and equipment used in moving and staging.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record. DMV printout required.
- A positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and willingness to go the extra mile.
