Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is seeking a Training Development Manager to provide support to PM EW&C. The Training Development Manager collaborates with TRADOC and OEM Training Leads to develop New Equipment Training (NET) Program of Instruction (POI) for Product Manager TSW family of systems, including both Programs of Record (POR) and Operational Need Statements (ONS).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
Collaborate with TRADOC and OEM Training Leads to develop New Equipment Training (NET) Program of Instruction (POI) for Product Manager TSW family of systems, including both Programs of Record (POR) and Operational Need Statements (ONS).
- Review and provide input to logistics documents, lesson plans and training materials.
- Prepare Qualitative and Quantitative Personnel Requirements Information (QQPRI) documents.
- Develop viable and cost-effective training strategies, in coordination with various TRADOC schools.
- Provide input to training budget and comply with developed parameters.
- Review contractor prepared training materials and technical manuals. Ensure final lesson plans are in accordance with regulatory guidance (AR 350-1).
- Coordinate New Equipment Training (NET) and New Equipment Fielding (NEF) requirements with gaining units.
- Participate in training conferences and function as an integral part of the PM support team.
- Serve as focal point for NET After Action Reports (AAR's) and analysis of the same to determine customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead Training IPTs as required.
- Attend training conference and coordinate training event support. Lead and/or participate in Validation/Verification (Val/Ver), Operational Assessment (OA), Operational Demonstration (OD) and Soldier Touch Point (STP) events.
Work with IEWTPT stakeholders to ensure IEWTPT solutions are adequate for training.
Serve as member of Source Selection Evaluation Board and review contractual training requirements as required
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
- 4 years of experience in DoD acquisition program management office specializing in training development/management/execution.
Ability to self-start and multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Excellent interpersonal skills, proven verbal and written communications, and the ability to work on multi-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Clearance
- TS/SCI; Secret may be considered if able to attain TS/SCI
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree
Desired Requirements
- Top Secret/SCI Clearance
- Familiarization with AR 350-1
- Previous experience with QQPRI
- Previous experience working with TRADOC and OEMs for NET POI development and approval
Other Qualifications
- This position requires the ability to travel up to 75% to Army and contractor locations within CONUS and OCONUS.
- Ability to work within an office and field environments.
