Is seeking a full-time Brick Layer/Masonry Helper. Working with an Experienced Brick Layer/Mason work tasks include assisting with measuring work areas, mixing and applying mortar, laying bricks, brick/masonry repairs, chimney repairs, brick/masonry work inside homes, cleanup, etc. The door is wide open. Saturdays during busy season as needed.

Compensation:

$18 - $20 per hour

Qualifications:

• Ability to work well/together with Experienced Brick Layer/Mason.
• Knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, methods, and practices of the bricklaying and masonry trade a plus;
• Knowledge of the safety requirements and state code relating to the bricklaying and masonry trade a plus;
• Knowledge of all types of brick and masonry construction, their common and unusual breakdowns and standard repair procedures a plus;
• Manual dexterity; sufficient strength and endurance to work with brick and other masonry materials on a continuous basis;
• Skill to learn quickly and acquire necessary skills to successfully complete all tasks;
• Able to maintain a professional and service oriented relationship with customers and co-workers;
• Knowledge in preparing and maintain accurate records and reports;
• Present a neat, clean appearance at all times;
• Able to perform physical labor including: heavy lifting, bending, stooping, and twisting;
• Ability to work on scaffolds at varying heights.
