Job Summary
The RBT works with clients on the Autism spectrum, providing direct service to the client within their home or school. The treatment program will follow the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and occurs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Make a difference in a private practice where you work closely with the owner and other therapists to help develop the transdisciplinary team
- Provide direct instruction and programs to increase communication, daily living skills, social skills, play skills, and more.
- Manage challenging behaviors
- Support clients with Autism in their homes, schools, and community settings
- Find creative ways to keep clients motivated to learn
- Communicate effectively, and professionally with the client, client's family, and therapy team
- Work collaboratively with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers, and school staff for effective program implementation.
- Take direction and feedback from the supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA)
- Collect accurate data on a client's progress using Central Reach
- Complete required trainings related to organization guidelines, compliance, state and federal regulations
- Accurately record and maintain scheduled appointments in the practice management software daily and comply with billing and payroll policies
- Adhere to and ensures all patient privacy policies, HIPAA compliance and confidentiality

- A minimum of 6 months experience in ABA therapy, preferred
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in ABA (or a related field), preferred
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification, preferred
- Knowledge of general ABA practices
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
