Maglenson Events is searching for a talented and motivated event specialist to help in organizing outstanding and unforgettable events. You will be responsible for multiple parts of event preparations, such as conducting tours and event set up, developing, and executing on seating plans, overseeing event break down and clean up, and evaluating success afterward.

As the event specialist, you should be well-organized and possess a sound knowledge of vendor management. Excellent communication and attention to detail skills are vital in this role, as our success depends on meeting our client's tailored requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the client’s requirements and expectations for each event.
  • Liaise with vendors and stakeholders during the set-up process to ensure everything is in order.
  • Oversee all event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes.
  • Conduct final inspections prior to and after each event.
  • Assess an event’s overall success and submit findings.

Requirements:

  • 1 year experience in the event industry preferred
  • Well-organized with excellent multi-tasking abilities.
  • Outstanding vendor management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or public relations is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

This role is part time and will only work 2-3 hours per event. Most events are on weekends.
