Role Summary
Prepare and distribute reports, track costs, and perform duties required to help the team to prepare financial statements and balance sheets. Collect and track data in support of tooling, capital, balance sheet and other financial metrics. Support the finance function in various planning, reporting, and forecasting capacities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to controller & assistant controller.
- Work to create, track, and close out fixed asset projects.
- Tooling cost tracking and comparison to approved budgets.
- Prepare audit schedules and support documentation.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations and supporting documentation required.
- Responsible for assisting in month end process, including journal entry preparation and financial analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
- Understand your responsibility for health and safety in the workplace. Cooperate with OSHA MIOSHA inspectors. Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. Follow all safety rules. Report unsafe conditions immediately. Report injuries, accidents, illnesses, near misses, property damage immediately. Will not remove or make ineffective any protective device such as a guard, light curtain, etc. Will not use or operate any machine or equipment that the employee is not trained to operate. Will not use or operate any machine or equipment in a manner that may endanger any employee including themselves.

- Detail oriented with ability to multi-task projects and prioritize multiple deadlines.

- Competent in use of Microsoft Excel.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.), in Finance or equivalent 1-3 years’ experience in related field.
- Experience in automotive industry or manufacturing preferred.
